Future For Nature
Future for Nature Foundation works to conserve nature by protecting species of wild animals and plants. The hope of conserving nature lies with outstanding young conservationists who have demonstrated their ability to succeed. The Foundation supports this young talent through its annual Future for Nature Award.
KiesKompas
People are confronted with increasingly complex choices in life. Kieskompas BV helps people make better choices. Based on scientifically approved methods, Kieskompas develops web applications in order to make choices more simple and transparent, both to voters and consumers. Most famous for its online application around national and municipal elections, Kieskompas has also developed applications for choices around health, labour, nutrition and religion.

As its general director, Bart Romijn is in charge of the business aspects of Kieskompas, including its positioning, organizational strengthening and generation of revenues.
Coalitie Erbij
Research reveals that 30% of the adult Dutch population has feelings of loneliness, while 10% is strongly lonesome. Fourteen well-known Dutch organisations in the field of healthcare and welfare, including the Red Cross and the Salvation Army, have joined forces in a coalition, called Coalitie Erbij ("include"). The coalition wants to raise awareness and stimulate people to do something about their, or other people's loneliness. The coalition has initiated a public campaign, a platform, research and advocacy.
- Organizing and fundraising for national Awareness Week against Loneliness
For the second time Warner Strategy and Fundraising organizes the annual Awareness Week against Loneliness. Nationwide we raise awareness about this social problem through events, media attention and other actions. WSFR develops and implements a number of projects together with partners and fundraises for this campaign.
ForeFinance
ForeFinance is an initiatieve to connect banks, farmers traders and other stakeholders in developing countries . ForeFinance brings an innovative way to estimate and communicate creditability of farmers. This enables better access to loans, and a better chance for farmers to grow their enterprise.
IIED
IIED is a UK based, leading research, advisory and advocacy institution. IIED works both with internationally renowned specialists, local stakeholders in developing countries and a wide range of other partnerships in pursuit of "a fairer, more sustainable world".
Milieudefensie
Milieudefensie is a movement that works to prevent and resolve environmental problems. The organization works locally, nationally and worldwide, and is a member of Friends of the Earth International. Milieudefensie works on theme's such as mobility, international footprint and food.
- Fundraising scan of Dutch Foundations
Jostein van Vliet performed a fundraising scan directed at possibilities from foundations to add on the current fundraising directed at individuals and institutions that Milieudefensie is already successful in.
- Organisation Diner Pensant
Jostein van Vliet is organizing a 'Diner Pensant', a dinner with leaders of companies, NGOs and politics to inquire into sustainable and honest corporate social responsibility. The goal of the dinner is to strengthen relations for fundraising.
Stichting IntEnt
IntEnt Foundation supports entrepreneurs, specifically migrants, in establishing businesses in developing countries. In the case of migrants, this is often the country of origin of their (grand)parents. In recent years, IntEnt has thus successfully guided hundreds of new entrepreneurs, with local partners in developing countries.
- Interim management
Because of external changes, IntEnt was forced to reorganize and develop a new business strategy. As the interim director, Theo van Koolwijk has developed a new profile, structure and direction for IntEnt, in the period between June and November 2011.
Global March against Child Labour
Global March Against Child Labour is a movement to mobilize worldwide efforts to protect and promote the rights of all children, especially the right to receive a free, meaningful education and to be free from economic exploitation and from performing any work that is likely to be harmful to the child's physical, mental or social development. The Global March has built a vibrant global movement that brings together NGOs, trade unions, and committed individuals from over 140 countries for the single cause of making the world free of child labour.

Global March has grown to a huge network that is managed by an International Council, an International Secretariat and twelve regional coordinators who together cover the entire world, with a foundation based in the Netherlands. Since 2010, the board of Global March has commissioned Warner to organize the financial management of the foundation.

Dutch Sustainable Trade Initiative (IDH)
IDH forges enterprising coalitions between government agencies, companies, trade unions and social organizations. Sector by sector, IDH gathers forces together to jointly transform the market, and make sustainable production and trade the norm. The parties work on the entire supply chain in ambitious implementation programs.
Cordaid
Cordaid is one of the largest development organizations of the Netherlands, with a network of approximately 1,000 local partner organizations in 36 countries (Africa, Asia, Middle East, Latin America). Cordaid has over 100 years experience in the fields of emergency relief, development aid and fight against poverty
- Interim Manager
Cordaid is preparing a major shift in focus where the role of the organization moves from co-financer to partner is so called Communities of Change. Bart Romijn functions as Interim Manager of the Sector Emergency Aid and Rebuilding (55 persons). As part of this reorganization this Sector will be part of two new groups, Conflict Transformation and Disaster Risk Reduction.
- Mapping of American stakeholders regarding conflict resources
KeyLance Consultancy LLC researched and mapped all relevant US stakeholders for Cordaid in the field of conflict resources, transparency and human rights. The mapping enables Cordaid to draft a clear strategy in terms of partner ships and networks as well as to prepare its first steps toward fundraising activities.
Gerrit Rietveld Academy
The Amsterdam Art Academy Gerrit Rietveld developed a plan to present artworks of their Alumni on the 54th Biennale in Venice in 2011. In close collaboration with other renowned European Art Academies the presentation 'Concepts of Photography' os prepared.
- Fundraising scan and prospect development
The Academy asked Warner for advice and support, finding additional funding, mainly sponsoring, for the project. In a first phase a shortlist of ten promising prospects was composed, based on research, experience and existing networks.
Association of Government Subsidized Museums (VRM)
The branch of former Government Subsidized Museums wants to support its members for the future. New government norms for self sustainability and the expected cuts in the Government budgets lead to an uncertain and vulnerable situation for the museums. Cultural Entrepreneurship, own revenue raising and resilience of the organization are the keywords in this discussion.
- Interactive workshops fundraising
The VRM asked Warner to organize a number of interactive workshops for its members. The workshops will reflect on the actual situation and provide inspiration for new chances, ideas and angles for the future. The Resilience Scan and the 360° Scan for own revenue raising, as developed by Warner, provide tools which the museums can use in their own situation.
European Centre for Development Policy Management (ECDPM)
The European Centre for Development Policy Management (ECDPM) is an independent European centre of expertise, working to improve relations between Europe and its partners in Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific and to enhance the institutional capacity of actors in ACP-countries. Key strategies are facilitation of policy dialogues, strategic research, knowledge management, and information services.
- Team Leader External Evaluation
Bart Romijn is leader of an international team - two members from Africa and two from Europe - undertaking the external evaluation of ECDPM. The evaluation covers the period 2007 - 2010. The team reviews the context and performance of the Centre assesses how it is evolving as an institution and formulates recommendations for improvement.
Kudirat Initiative for Democracy (KIND)
Kudirat Initiative for Democracy (KIND) is an Nigerian organization that aims to get more women leaders in politics and other fields. KIND gives leadership trainings in universities throughout Nigeria, helps create chances for young women and advocates towards national government.
- Facilitation of strategic process and benchmark
Jostein van Vliet and Tine Veldkamp of Coalition Factory support KIND in making important choices for the future, for example on improving their financial sustainability and the monitoring and evaluation system. Additionally, Jostein van Vliet is doing a benchmark study for KIND on alternative income generating strategies for NGOs.
EICCAM
EICCAM is short for European Information Centre for Complementary and Alternative Medicine. The centre aims to disseminate scientific information about complementary and alternative medicine to policy makers in Europe. EICCAM translates scientific papers in understandable language to facilitate decision making.

Theo van Koolwijk en Jostein van Vliet support EICCAM in researching the possibilities to raise funds for the organization. Diverse options for fundraising, from merchandise to sponsorship to institutional fundraising are assessed for potential.

Young In Prison
Young In Prison is a nonprofit organization with a mission it is to give imprisoned children in developing countries a new chance in life. Young In Prison implements re-integration projects entailing elements of creativity and sport that help children regain their self-esteem and offer them new perspective. In its projects, Young In Prison involves sustainable mentality and policy changes in the direct vicinity of the child.
Interface for Cycling Expertise (I-CE)
Interface for Cycling Expertise (I-CE) is a nonprofit organization that aims to improve urban traffic and environmental planning by creating low cost bicycling mobility and the promotion of a sustainable environment. To implement these goals, I-CE focuses mainly on developing countries and offers support in the field of capacity building and knowledge development.
- Fundraising advice and scan of American grantmakers
KeyLance Consultancy LLC is currently performing a scan/analysis of potential American grantmakers for I-CE ("US foundations"), with the aim of informing I-CE what fundraising opportunities could arise in the United States, including expected time frames. After completion of the scan, KeyLance Consultancy and I-CE will discuss next steps for the actual fundraising implementation activities.
